My routine doctor visit today...Good news...weight is down to 180. Lost the last 4 pounds over the past 3 months. My sugar readings are doing well, BP was 120/70. All readings were good. Needless to say my doctor was very pleased. Even so, he and I both agreed that I could probably stand to lose another 10 - 15 pounds and hopefully that could lead to getting off some of my meds. So, my new goal is somewhere between 165 and 170. Wish me luck.
180.0 lb Lost so far: 29.0 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You don't need any luck at all; you're on the right track, you're doing everything right, and your body is shouting with joy! I'm tremendously proud of you; great work!

Great news! Being taken off meds would be a huge plus for me as I dislike taking medication. I find myself getting discouraged often so I set mini goals which helps me a ton. The ‘wish me luck’ makes me think you may be like I am and the mini goals may help you too. So happy for you!

Indeed! Get off the meds asap, but the important part is to eat nutritious foods and get healthy! The weight will come off eventually!
