Broke out the bathing suit I’ve had stored for over one year. Never worn before. I lived in it all day. We had such an incredible time: brunch of turkey bacon and hb eggs, badminton in the back yard, then 3 gorgeous hours at the beach, all to come home and grill out kebabs. I even mowed the lawn for my husband today, as part of my spoiling him. He’s had such a great day, and he’s been full of compliments for my beach body. I’ve said it before: my husband has loved me MADLY at many weights. But when he’s staring at me, slack jawed, and just says “wow you look good “ my heart skips a beat.
Not sure if many of you identify as having body dysmorphia but I certainly feel like I do. I take selfies and they look great; if anyone else takes my picture it’s getting deleted! What I see in the mirror certainly is not who’s making my husband go ga-ga. 😂 Knowing This has made recovery possible, and up until about 2 months ago, I had never owned a full length mirror since 2008.
Anyway..... I wore the bathing suit, I felt great, and I’m planning on doing it again tomorrow if the weather is nice. I happen to be COVERED in bruises from the shipyard, so that looks a little strange. I have never worn a bikini after I ate or drank anything. This new Life is an amazing place to be....
