6/2 Pinched a nerve sleeping wrong on a fluffy hotel pillow.
6/4 Went to work but pain increased throughout the day to the point that when I finally got home, I needed help undressing and emailed the office stating that I would be out of the office on 6/5.
6/6 - 6/8 Pain fluctuating but tolerable.
6/9 Hit the gym early morning (1st time in 4 weeks)
6/10 Got up early and because my pain level was low, I pored polymer sand in between the pavers I layed a few days prior. Later that day, I took a ride on my motorcycle and about 1/2 hour in, almost had to pull over due to accelerated fatigue in my hands from this pinched nerve (I'm guessing, I'm no doctor, just coach)
6/11 Experienced the worse pain imaginable on my commute into work. It was so intense that if I had a pillow I would have face planted it and cried like a baby. 6/12 I finally found a chiropractor close to the office onboarding new patients and I will see him at 10:30 AM today

I am tough and I will get through this. 10 days of pain, NO GOOD.

I have logged my foods consistently for the last 6 days and I will fight through my pain. I need a good 48 hr fast to heal this and any other old injuries and defects that are present in my body.

## Update 1 ##
Got some relief from being connected to a TENS machine and a huge ice pack was placed on my neck and shoulders for 1 hr. He did some adjustments and I my head turning range has increased.
I am 17 hrs and 2 minutes into this fast. I should have 24 hrs in the bag. My friend who committed to a 48 hr minimum fast wimped out at his 19 hr mark and headed up to the cafe for soup. I DON'T NEED NO STINKING SOUP! I got some fat (FOOD) I need to access after I burn through my glycogen stores.

6/12 Realized he should've bought the "extended service plan" on his carcass and now he can't find the receipt to do a refund (LOL!) - you'll heal, brother.

Pain from a pinched nerve is no fun! If bet $ on that chiropractor helping though, and doing a fast when you feel better too. Good luck and here's to you being free of pain!

@ches Feel you, brother. I was out from September to May with some shoulder shiznit. Do you have a diagnosis? If not, do you have numbness / paresthesia in your arms/hand(s)?

3 hrs since the Dr. visit, feeling good so far. I probably will need an X-ray of my neck in the near future to see if anything else is going on in there but for now, I really like the fact that I can turn my head independent of my body once again (I've been twisting my whole body in the direct I turn off and on now for over a week. Thanks all!

Ugh, pinched nerve, neck pain is the pits! Glad the chiropractor helped some. Praying for speedy healing!

Ches, the last time you reported neck pain, I was going to suggest a coldpack or ice pack (alternating 20 min. on, 20 min. off, for as long as needed), but I didn't want to "prescribe." I keep several sizes of coldpacks in my freezer at all times. They're great for episodes of acute pain due to osteoarthritis -- the degenerative type that many of us develop from walking upright! Alternative: getting rid of bags of frozen carbs, like corn, peas, and lima beans!

I am so sorry to hear of your struggle with pain, might you try a cup of epsom salt in a warm bath?
