Chowd's Journal, 26 May 2018

Not very good this week! Very depressing! Two Orio cookies lead to ten. Three Ritz crackers leads to a whole sleeve of them. No self controll at all. Then tere is the chocolate. One piece leads to five. Thats enough calories for a whole meal! I haven't had a drink in over fifteen years, I would think I would have enough sense to treat snack food with the same restraint.
I know I should not be beating myself up like this, but I should know and behave better. Back to the diet mode. Maintenance mode did not last too long.
180.2 lb Lost so far: 27.8 lb.    Still to go: 5.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Back to it, Chowd. I have the same issue. One is not enough.

I think sometimes you just need to indulge and blow off steam. Do not beat yourself up about it. Shrug it off. Be good for the next week, and then you know what plan yourself a non food based reward. Like a trip or an event, and use that as you carrot for keeping on track, rather than a sugar treat blow off. You can will yourself to do it when you reward yourself for your great endeavours! Keep strong x

Not giving up is the key! Last week u didn't go well, but this week you're gonna try harder and that's what progress is all about! Progress also comes from our failures ❤️
