I booked a flight to go to Texas for a few days at the end of June. I weighed 208 last time I went...which I'm 15lbs away from. I want to get as close to that weight as possible for my trip!!! It would be so cool to be the same weight when I get there! If it's not realistic it's ok...10lbs would be good too! I have been cheating like crazy diet wise but I've been working out every morning and walking on my two 15 minute breaks AND I started eating my lunch at my desk while working and then using my 30 minute lunch to walk some more! Hoping all this extra work will show soon :). You reap what you sow! I only have to keep working and I need to believe changes I make will reflect in my results soon! No more cheating this month...just keeping my diet 100% in check and may start adding in spin class in the evenings as well...got my bag packed for after work today....maybe I can just do that for this month to help me get to 15lbs before the trip :)

You’re doing great! You will get there! I’ve always heard “you can’t outrun your fork”...sticking to the diet will produce the best results 🙂

Hi I just read your post. I’m actually a life coach and run a weight loss clinic in SC. One thing that you can do that will make the MOST difference in your appearance (ie-fat in your body) is to eat low carb-yes, BUT even more importantly-Eat often!!!! Eat a protein breakfast within an hour of opening your eyes and never, ever, never, ever, NEVER, go longer than 3 hours without eating throughout the day! This will boost your metabolism and help you burn more fat! Which will result in a smaller body! Don’t get caught up on your weight.

You can do anything for a month! Who knows, once a month is over maybe those changes will stick around. Good luck!!

I make it a point not to eat at my desk. You really never get the time you need to enjoy the food. I used to work in a factory and there was actually no place to eat but my desk. I hated it. You need to relax, get away and smell the roses during lunch. Maybe take it outside or someplace to get away from it all. Enjoy your TX trip. And, hopefully, the company is paying for the "working lunch"

Texans just stand outside for an hour or two when we want to lose some weight...sweating, it's a thing! LOL! Hope you make your goal and have a great trip!
