Which is better for you drinking kinda week coffee (no creamer) all day or drinking almost nothing? So tomorrow is weigh in day and I didn't drink any coffee this week, but I hardly drank anything at all! I do really like my coffee, but I want to do what is healthy for me.

yeah i agree, drink water. Its not good to get dehydrated. Plus the body naturally signals hunger a lot of times when it really just needs water.

Thanks for the answers but I just don't like drinking water much! So the question was drink week coffee or drink nothing! I'm thinking it's better to drink something even if it's coffee than nothing but I know water is better, it's just not gonna happen! I do eat healthy, greens veggies, beans and some fruit. 😆 When I eat out I do drink a glass of water and occasionally at home a cup of green tea. I am going to put a glass of water by my chair (where I spent a lot of time)! So maybe I can make myself drink more water. 😁 Thanks again, Nan

Water is very important to allover health. I would like to suggest that you start our drinking 8 ounces a day and then add a little every day until you are up to 16 ounces then increase it a little each day or even by the week.

I dislike plain water myself so I make ice tea and dilute it and put plenty of squeezed lemon in it. you need liquids,,,, going without as everyone has said. is very bad for your health. so while I will not argue with you about what you should do, if the only way you will put liquid in your body is with weak coffee, something is always better than nothing unless you have an allergy to coffee or it effects your bloodsugar negatively

Coffee has a diuretic effect so drinking just it all day will have similar effects to drinking nothing as far as your comparison is concerned. There are ways to make water taste better if you don't like the taste. We need water to live and your body needs it to perform a lot it has to do. Don't sip it if you don't like it. Fill up an 8 oz cup and drink it down fast like medicine if you have to before a cup of coffee and before every meal or after every time you go pee or whatever. You can do it.

Remember, not all coffees are made the same.

Though "dry fasting" has so many great benefits if done correctly.

Coffee is fine. Feel free to add a bit of creamer or milk and when refilling, just add to previous cup so the flavor is still there.

Drink the coffee. 'Weak' coffee is coffee that is low on caffeine. It has nothing to do with creamer, which is just adding fat and sugar. Caffeine is a diuretic, so it will cause an increase in fluid loss, but it's unlikely to be even close to what you gain, so that's a net gain. Dehydration isn't a joke though, and you should try to add some water into your daily life. We all do things we don't like doing to better ourselves. Otherwise a lot of food logs would be twinkies and bacon.

ask a nutritionist, or your doctor if they are unusual and actually trained in nutrition. :)

For years I hardly drank water, but got kidney stones due to that and an underactive thyroid.

Thanks again for all your comments! I did say I was going to work on it (putting a glass by my chair! I do have green tea some which someone mentioned. I loved the comment about drinking water every time I go potty and before each cup of coffee, but why can't we make it taste better? Thanks again I love you guys for caring enough to comment. Nan

A properly hydrated body will process everything better, function better, and cleanse your body of toxins better. Drink the water, but you don't have to give up your coffee. For every cup of coffee, drink two cups of water and you'll be amazed. You will look better, feel better, and lose weight better.

These foods contain the highest water content... adding them to your diet will also help with your fluid intake: Cucumber, Lettuce, Celery, Radishes, Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Cauliflower, Watermelon, Spinach, Strawberries, Broccoli, Grapefruit, Apricots, Cherries, Grapes, and Zucchini.
