Am doing what I know to do, that is in my power to do. Have fruit and veg for juicing, have coffee and tea for fasting, have grassfed meats for keto. Will fast as able, at least one juice a day for micronutrients, and if I need to EAT, I have meat.

I remember thinking, "How can a person regain 100 lb?"

Truly, I am looking at grains and sugars like marijuana and tobacco. If I use those again, I will be trapped in my addiction. I like being free.

With perimenopause I gained 120 pounds. 10 pounds per year and with menopause I just gained 20 more. It happens. Snacking was my downfall and not exercising. Being single for many years and wanting to stay that way private food parties were common. And those black leggings began tinfoil my closet. I married at 250 pounds so... Thank god somehow I managed to be happy even though I was morbidly obese. I think those black leggings made me think I was thin... Today I hit 280 and I panicked. 20 for 300,and my health worries me. I have lost 10,and hopefully continue losing, yes food is e drugs, careful with that.

Ultimately, body function is what drove me to say, "enough!" It was hard to walk, hard to get up from a chair. I was falling asleep after my meals. I can deal with being fat. I cannot accept being crippled because my muscles and ligaments fail to support my weight. Sending energy to our cancer survivor. No doubt you have crawled all over the internet learning how to feed you and starve cancer cells. High five to our lady of the black leggings for being happily married while fat. Me, too!

I had a skid from 1 October till December 31, I attribute part of it to listening to pinche pendjos that don't know what they're talking about. But darn it, those Baby Ruth bars, that's how it started, pre-Halloween candy, then, ya know, that hat-trick of holidays, Hallow-Giving-Mas. Oh, and donuts. Lots and lots of donuts. Sending you support and love, it will come off as easily as it went back on!

I totally understand the statement "that is in my power to do". For me, fasting is something I am able to do. Once I start eating, I realize I treat food, especially carbs, like a drug. A tool for pleasure. This is good for other people but clearly it doesn't work for me and I have to recognize that and not continue to try to act like other people.
