Klynn82's Journal, 03 April 2018

Ok, so I am finally brave enough to correct my weight and stuff. I did not GAIN that much, I am just making sure that this is correct and accurate. I will weigh in every Friday/Saturday, to make sure that I am accountable, and I wanted it to be 100% accurate before I start doing that. I have not gained that weight back, this is just correcting my initial guesstimate. I am a lot heavier than I thought I was and it is very embarrassing to me that I let myself get that heavy. I am ashamed and angry, but I am also working very hard to change it. Thank you all for supporting me and walking with me through this journey!

Good for you. Honesty with ourselves is what is most important right now. I also had to suck up a gain after hitting my goal two years ago...we move on and keep losing!

When I saw the scale at my heaviest I was shocked and embarrassed at how I had let myself get there. I realized it was mine to own and mine to correct. I committed to myself right there and then that it would not happen again. Thus began my journey. from that day to this I remember that feeling - it helps me to make the better decisions when I want to give up. I am not perfect at this, not by any stretch. I wish you all the best on your adventure - You can do this.

If you want the rainbow, you have to be able to deal with the rain. We will all get there with our peaks and valleys. Good job keeping it off and you will continue to in order to reach your goals.

You have lost 10% of your weight which is awesome!! No need to be ashamed or embarrassed. We all struggle in different ways. You have owned up to it and are making changes to get healthier and that is fantastic!

You are always so great at verbalizing. Now you can work on putting it into action. I know you have this.... Baby steps.....

Keep up the good work! We were each shocked when we saw our peak weights. It took me 7 years and a diagnosis of T2D before I found the WOE (keto) that enabled me to lose the weight. (Now to keep it off) You have the advantage of youth and the determination to do this. We are all pulling for you!

You have to start somewhere. I know it's super hard. I have a large amount to lose also and sometimes it feels impossible. Just make sure you just do little goals so you don't get discouraged! Good for you for starting while you are young.

We are on the same journey you are and we are not going to be embarrassed by what we did weigh or do weigh. We are headed down however we can get there. You are brave enough to be honest so take credit and be proud of the journey you are undertaking.
