“Making each moment count positively is all that life demands from you.” ― Edmond Mbiaka

39..feels like winter..an been raining all nite..still is..good saturday morning..with my weight and getting the salt back outta my system from a few days ago...the feedback of why i let myself have the salt came full circle last night...was a ah ha moment...at around 430pm i found myself pacing the kitchen floor..didnt think i was hungry..butjust couldnt stay outta the kitchen..finally opened the freezer an seen some pepperoni slices..an as i started to reach for them...the light went off...thats what got my weight higher the last time..instead i had riced cauliflower an i also figured out the reason i was reaching for salt...i was tired..when im tired..i reach for salty things to eat..

after i ate the cauliflower i went to bed shortly after..530pm..i was in bed..an asleep..slept all nite till 3am this morning an felt refreshed once again...got up an moving..listened to day 5 of the meditatiion..and by 430am was on the trainer peddling away in zwift...

looking like a day inside ..ditches are full..an its still raining..an will be until 2am sunday morning..with more rain thru out the week..a rainy week is ahead looks like...o well...least its not snow up to our butts like some of you have...lol..just mud instead..if you step off the road or concrete drive..

well time to get up an fix salad..get that set up for later..an then..who knows..probably a lot of recliner time today..maybe even a nap or 2 in the recliner..makes for a longer day but with it raining..who wants to get out an get wet..

Good morning Mike..yeah I'm a pepperoini type girl..I reach for it if I want a quick snack...I have been placing a few pepperoni together on a tray with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese then I crisp up in the oven several little piles and then cool..eat one or two like chips real good and prevents me from eating a half a bag of pepperoni ...have a good day;)

Try a cup of bouillon or bone broth instead - salty and warm, helps me sleep and replenishes salt after a workout.

What does rain look like? Just kidding, it’s been a while since we have had any. I felt pretty good about myself yesterday, I changed out the tires and tubes on my spouse’s bike. Her bike is different from mine .... her brake pads wouldn’t allow me to install the tire (it seems that the new tire is a little wider than the old tire). I suspect that there is simple solution to this, but I removed one brake pad, installed the wheel and then re-installed the brake. I took a quick 10 mile ride .... which was like the second time ever riding her bike, the first being when the front tire exploded. Thanks again for your help in ordering parts. I’m warming up to doing more biking, ever though i’ve been enjoying my morning walks.

My father used to say "At least you don't have to shovel rain." I enjoy the quotes at the top of your posts -- they make me pause and think.

thanks everyone...been adding more carbs as a trial..trying to find a happy consistency between enough energy to burn fat the first 45 min of ride/workout and then last part of ride..have a gel or mix in a mix in water to drink to get carbs to finish out a workout...
