hi just call me E every one else does long story.hahaha. I just found this site by accident and I'm glad I did so I've been on line for just a couple of weeks.from what I can tell is that there's alot of support and friendly people.most of the food looks terrible.it's like people on a life raft eating raw seagulls to survive.hahaha I know that's a terrible thing to say.hahaha l get beside myself something.l mean 9out of 10 will say ummmm looks delicious...I'm number 10. hahaha.......in 2014 I lost the use of my lower spine both hips&knees l had a bed in the va and how they laid me in bed was how I was taken out in the morning.they put me in my wheel chair and I go to rehab and exercise with the help of an aide.3months of hard work and I was aloud to go home still in a wheelchair .I passed several tests and I could raise my feet 3 inches off the ground and va inspector made sure my home was wheelchair acceptable with grabbars everywhere and most of all support which you'll find on this site.anyway I went in weighting 188 and when i was discharged I was 247 omg ...I felt like that little dough man on tv.hahaha.....va would send rehab over twice a wk...they say Mr Murphy. let's work those legs.make a long story short...I traded that chair in for a walker and now I'm caning it."eyes got all misty"so here l am fat and no muscles.....no alcohol "worst weight gainer ever" think of it an Irish man who doesn't drink.the saints be with me. 2nd join the community pool.it's cheap in cost.3rd don't be concerned with weights right now swim swim swim get all them muscles working again....4th no more junk food...by by ice cream seeya later snickers....stay away from salt where you can.forget the cheese..oh no more mayo 30%fat from one table spoon....you don't have to go health nut. eat the good foods you like.for instance after a walk or something drink 8oz of low fat chocolate milk or snack on a cup of Cheerios with a half a cup of whole milk.these are couple of foods that gives you the correct amount of protein,carbs,fat.....never starve yourself and eat 5 or6 times a day. water is very important to drink....so I hit the pool this summer weighed in at 247 swam 3days a wk. ate like I said come the end of August I weighed in at 232 the body was satisfied with the food intake the fat started dropping off.so now l joined the YMCA because the community pool has no heat.just as well because I wanted to start on weights also.now I'm at 226...the y has a machine they hook you up to.the long and short my fat%is. down to 27% with a 4% increase in muscle mass...so in time. I'll. my progress in my app. remember you can mostly eat the foods you like..explor and you'll. come up with some tasty and easy to throw together combos and most of all stay positive and good things will happen.

My oh my, you've come a long way. Very well done! 👍. You keep "caning" it and build up muscles. Sounds like you're on a good path and plan now. Keep it up! 😊
