Good morning! I'm on track, slept well, feeling good and lost weight, even if Fatsecret claims I'm gaining 12 kgs per week! LOL! Come on, Fatsecret. I have gained a little, but it's not THAT bad. Thanks for the reminder to man up, though. :)

I dropped 1.5 kgs - 3 lbs - since yesterday. It shows that my gain after the party isn't much different from any indulgence day I've had the last year. However, I can tell that I'm carrying extra weight and I really don't like it. It's gotta go.

I did good yesterday. I got some sugar free treats, and some jellos from my step son in the US, and they're gonna be a huge help. They definitely helped me through yesterday, and I'm gonna put a few in my pocket for the day.

They really help me stay on track, and I'm gonna work harder on finding good alternatives here in Denmark. Trouble is, anything sugar free or low calorie costs an arm and a leg here, and there is a minimal selection. It sucks.

I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts, though, and let it help me back on track.

My bike ride today will have to be 45 minutes instead of the hour I was set on. We slept a little longer than expected, so if I'm gonna have time to shower before we leave, I'll need to take a few minutes from the bike. We're gonna walk quite some though, so I think it'll be compensated for in full.

It feels good to be back on track. Eating right yesterday made such a difference from my feeling the day before, it's unbelievable. I hope I can remind myself of this next time I want a whole pizza or a bag of candy all for myself! :-)

Yesterday i had NO energy. I felt like my batteries had run dry. Today, even if I didn't eat super charging high energy food, but just ate somewhat smart, I feel 100 times better. I'm sure the self esteem of dropping weight, and the pride of exercising is helping too. It feels good to do what you know you ought to be doing.

The feeling of getting on the scale Monday morning was horrible. It reminded me of why I'm doing all this in the first place. I remembered how I used to feel, how I used to look. Never again. Ever.

So today's mission is going to the hospital for wife's checkup, then finding a very reasonable lunch, doing some walking and some shopping, and then home. Dinner is chicken soup, good planning as we don't know how lunch will be. I'm sure we'll do okay though.

Today I'm thankful for :
- a good night's sleep
- the day off with Wife
- being on track
- exercise!

Life is good!
