Happy Monday.

Took the weekend off from FS (was having too much fun). Thought I ate well but am up a pound today. So that is what I get for not tracking my food!

To make matters worse, I neglected to make anything for breakfast so am eating a bag of granola. Now, it is good, healthy homemade granola (made for DH) but a little much for someone whose weight graph is headed in the wrong direction.

So there you have it. I seem to want to do nothing to help myself so it certainly isn't fair to ask anyone else for help.
166.0 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 34.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.8 lb a week

Of course it's fair! That is precisely why we're here, to walk with you in your journey. I certainly relate to having the graph go in th wrong direction, and absolutely for SURE logging the meals is a huge part of the success or failure of a plan. Anyway, just get in some exercise today, it will make you feel better about yourself if nothing else. Have a great Monday!

Wow, you make your own granola? Wow. Very nice. I've never been creative enough. Don't be hard on yourself, Buffy Bear. You've lost 20 lbs and you're doing well maintaining. You're accountable and you have fun when you want. You're living it!

Homemeade granola sounds wonderful and is a possible maintenance food. At least you didn't go back to the instant oatmeal, right? I think you're being too hard on yourself...lots of good comments and advice already posted here. Glad you enjoyed the weekend....you need that after some of the long hours you put in. Smile and get on with this week (Pssst....the Mojo is back and he's brought some cousins that are looking for new homes!!!).

Auntie - when I get home I'm going to take your advice and wear out my elliptical.

Heather - Thanks. I feel much better this afternoon. BTW - when I get home I'll send you the basic granola recipe - it is perfect for someone like you (needing "fuel" to burn).

Notfast - You are right. Life (and food) is to enjoy. I've just got to find some kind of balance.

Tracy - I can gain just as much weight on healthy food and most people can eating junk food. I'm very talented that way!

Sandy - You are right - I am off the instant oatmeal for good. Just bought some more flax seed for tomorrow's breakfast. And Will be watching for the Mojo Cousins.

Oh dear...what I have must be contagious. LOL! Not my sinus crud but the "take a break from tracking" crud. It goes away. Honest! ;) You have done really well and I know once you get over your little vacation, you will be stronger than ever. I think it might be time to reconsider doing a 2 week induction just to get you back on track. Tough love. LMAO!! (I know... I keep trying and don't make it a week... but I bet you can) (((Big Hugs!!!))) Keep having fun... that is what life is all about.
