Down another little bit even though we had popcorn at the movies last night. I guess my body is just ready to get rid of any weight that puts me at over the 200 lb mark. Thanks body. :-) All joking aside, it does feel like I'm just destined to keep going down. It's a bit strange, especially as I adopt this new identity and that really is what I'm doing. I'm not "dieting" or working a diet/exercise plan. Just like I stopped being a smoker and became a non smoker, learning new habits and associating with healthier people and places to hang out, I'm not the same person I was this time last year, in regards to my eating habits. What I find very helpful are inspirational stories. I listened to a great podcast yesterday with one of my fave health brainiacs-Dr Rhonda Patrick, PhD. In it she interviews Rich Roll and discusses how he transformed his life, going from a 39 year old high powered corporate attorney that was 50 lbs overweight and feeling awful to the amazing ultrarunner/marathoner that he is today in his 50's. He was the first person to complete 5 back to back triathalons on 5 different Hawaiian islands in less than 7 days. Catch his amazing story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8ORtH7IxFc

One of my fave quotes from the podcast by Rich: "The gap between information and action is vast. If you can bridge that gap you'll have the keys to the kingdom but that's where the hard work is. You can't compel someone to be willing. That willingness has to be self generated."

Great post. Thank you for the inspiration. This is so true about the gap and the willingness.
