This is what 8 hours sleep looks like for me when I try to go to bed early:

Lights out 10:48 pm - UP 11:35; pee - Bed 11:50 - UP 1:45; pee - Bed 1:55 - UP 4:56; pee - Bed 5:00 - UP 5:33; shut off 6:30 alarm so it won't bother me - Bed 5:40 - UP 7; shut off alarm - Bed - UP 7:30 snooze alarm - UP 7:40 snooze alarm - UP 7:50 snooze alarm - UP 8 snooze alarm - UP 8:10 snooze alarm - UP 8:20 snooze alarm - UP 8:30 - Oh Crap! I'm going to be late for work!

Normal night about 6 hours sleep. Yes I need 3 alarms, so I can do my back exercises before I get out of bed with the assistance of my cats George & Serena. Can't tell for sure if they're trying to help me get up, or trying to hold me down.

I so know how you feel. I do not get up that often but then comes morning it is nothing but "snooze" *lol*. I think my phone has three different times set, I have a radio alarm clock and my fitbit is supposed to go off at 5 am. My daughter gave me a salt lamp for Christmas so I hooked it up to a timer an am hoping that it somehow eases me out of sleep :-))))

Beautiful fur babies! :) Do you know if you are diabetic? Sounds like my husband when his diabetes was way out of control - almost every hour on the hour all night long!

Not diabetic mlakhatch, but thanks for the concern. Is a problem both of my parents faced in later life. Have had varying degrees of bladder control issues since I hurt my back last January. Have had to go more frequently since doing the Bright Lines, as lots of fat is now being freed. As for Bad, and Badder; aka my kitties, Serena is the black chunk of rolling thunder that sounds like a Tribble (if you are Star Trek friendly) and usually starts her motor sometime in that 5-6 am time frame. George on the other hand waits until ten minutes before an alarm is scheduled to go off to begin his march back and forth across me. Almost exactly before it goes off will he drape himself across me, so now I not only have to fight my way out of the bed, but from under him as well. It should wake me up, but for some reason that's when I want to sleep the most.

I agree - I love when they snuggle. Our snuggly kitty passed away in Sept :( The one we still have doesn't like to be held - she'll wait for you to get comfortable then fit into a spot of her own choosing...lol
