another pound gone gooooood mornin fs...lookin at calendar an its gonna be really close to hit my mini goal by end of the month..im thinkin im gonna miss it by 2 days..but you just never know...just got back from an hour in the saddle again...when i left the house it was 62 and a bit cool..but after 3-4 blocks i forgot about being cool an my mind was thinkin about things i want to accomplish...getting gas for rider on top of list..grass either today or tomow..really hopin tomow so i can get another ride in tomow morning before im to tired to do anything...a day off from riding is great...but im not getting the miles in i wanted to accomplish this summer...last year by this time i was around 600-800 miles...and i know theres still alot of summer left..depending on the weather i have rode even into nov. if the weather is decent enough...so just have to see how rest of the days and the months go...im doing the happy dance as i write this..im happy its comin off..sometimes its hard to believe that part of its comin off with really no exercise...yes the exercise helps to strengthen the muscles..but to just eat right an watch the weight come down...who would of thunk it..like alot of things in life...so many gimmicks that promise the world..an when it comes down to it...its right in front of your eyes for free...just gotta be motivated...find a plan that works with your body an be committed 100%....hard to be committed all the time..but when you see the results..then cheating just isnt an option..i did have a few times yesterday when i had the urge for some candy..not that i have any in the house..but the urge was there...i walked over to the fridge..drank some water...NO IT WASNT THE SAME...but it got my mind off of candy and the sugar in it...well..gonna dance my way into the kitchen an get the tea set up..havnt made it yet this morning...to busy dancin...lol..have a great day...an thanks for stoppin by...

I added a new twist on water intake yesterday: beef broth! I have a hard time keeping my water intake up, and suspect I'm not getting enough minerals. Chilled broth is delicious!

Great job & awesome goals! You are so right about it being easier not to cheat when you see the weight coming off. No candy in the world tastes as good as coming closer & closer to your goals while gaining more & more self confidence every day! Nothing feels as good as accomplishment!

You can call me, FGJ or Jenny! The thing that kept me motivated, even when the scale got stuck, was trying on new clothes & realizing how I was still getting smaller. Sometimes even when I couldn't afford a new outfit, I would still just try something on! 😂 Coming from a size 24, I can remember my first few trips to the "normal" size sections. I felt so out of place! I felt like ppl we're looking at me thinking, "What is she doing over here. She'll never find anything to fit her here." When I slid into a size 12 (my goal at the time), I almost lost it! I cried like a baby in that dressing room! Then, the day came when I was wearing a very loose 10 & saw an awesome pair of 6 jeans on sale. I was thinking, "I know there's no way, but I'll just see how much I lack." Them suckers fit!!! I had lost so much in such a short amount of time that it took probably a year for my mind to catch up with my new body. It is a wonderful experience that I can't wait for all of you to experience, and everyone of you CAN do it!!!!

If you allow yourself artificial sweeteners or stevia, I will sometimes have a glass of iced tea with Splenda or stevia to curb a sweet tooth!

Love your can do attitude. I started my plan about 7 weeks ago. I feel so much better. Good luck in making your goal.

Someone left some almond biscotti flavoured tea at the office, and a couple of weeks ago during one of my (many) 3 PM IF I DON'T HAVE A CHOCOLATE BAR RIGHT NOW I'M GONNA KILL SOMETHING moments, I tried it. No sugar, just the scent, and the warm water filled me up and fooled my body into thinking I had sugar. And noo...it is certainly not the same...but it got me through the craving (and kept my colleagues alive). Might work for you too! :-)
