Asarver's Journal, 11 January 2016

Woo! Lost the weight I gained during the Holiday break. That means next week I'll see some real loss.

So, as I told you all, I was going to limit myself to one sugar drink a week. Can I just say that I excelled last week? I had hot cocoa, and it was delicious! I wanted lemonade, but the store didn't have it. :(

I'm hoping to find time to go running this week, but it's so cold (it's in the 20s), and I feel like I have no time to run on the treadmill at work. That is, of course, probably a lie. I could make time, but a part of me just wants to go home and snuggle with the dogs and read. Is that such a bad thing? I should have time Thursday after work, so I will aim there!

Other than that, I've been feeling hungry sometimes. Mainly in the afternoon after lunch. I eat my two apples, a piece of cheese, and then either belvita or nuts. But I'm not satisfied really. I know I'm getting enough food, and am definitely drinking another water. I don't think my dinners are unhealthy, I make everything at home. My husband says I'm not really hungry, and it's just my head making me think I'm hungry. Oh wells.

I hope everyone has a good week!!

There are times I think I'm hungry too--and sometimes I really am--so that's when I have veggie sticks with some homemade dip. I think the most important thing is not to actually feel hungry, really hungry, because that makes you vulnerable to bingeing!

Drinking more water often helps those hunger pangs.

When I get "hungry" I just get a glass of water or juice and usually that gets rid of the problem for a while.
