Okay, this is just wild. I lost weight - and a lot - again. I lost an amazing 1.4 kgs (3lbs) since yesterday - and yesterday was a new, lowest weigh in! So of course, this is - again - a new lowest weigh in. :) I am ALL smiles!
I think I need to stop questioning it and just conclude that spiking DOES help me. I have lost a total of 2.4 kgs this last week, and a total of 9.5 kgs by changing to spiking this last month. That is amazing.
What makes me even happier is that my wife FINALLY broke down and is joining me. She is nowhere the size I was but is getting very uncomfortable with me weighing almost the same (and soon less) as she does. So she joined me one week ago, doubting herself all the way (as I think people often do in the beginning) and of course I helped her and gave her the support and advice I am now experienced with. She did absolutely no exercise other than her every day work, and she lost 1.5 kgs (3lbs). Both she and I are amazed with it. She is just doing the exact same thing as I am. That's all. Easy and simple.

Today is gonna be a fun day. As some of you guys out there in FS-land know, I teach rock music during the fall/winter/spring season. I have a class for 7-11 graders who wants to play in a rock band, and I am the one putting it all together for them. It's tons of fun. a little exercise and very well paid. What more can you ask? Essentially, I get to go do jam sessions with a bunch of cool kids AND get paid for it.
Well, today is sign-up day, and we are all gonna be there and present to the new 7th graders what our class is all about.
This is the first time to attempt doing this to sign up even more kids, and I figured that I need to basically do what I normally do in class, only they're not really there to stay and participate. They'll be preoccupied with all the other classes also.
So I have hired my old friend and superb drummer Jack, and invited him to the school for a jam session with me! This will be SO much fun. Then, the plan is to set up more gear for anyone who's got the guts (and a little bit of talent) to join in the fun. :) I'm curious how many kids I'll get signed up, but I know it will be so much fun.
Afterwards, We will go have a good lunch at one of the local pizza houses, though I will skip on the pizza. Last time, my stomach hurt for days - I am simply not up for huge meals like that any more. I will go for something smaller, but something highly unhealthy. I have 3600 calories I need to eat today - as it is spike day. I will make sure to enjoy that to the max.
As you can tell, today will be a killer day - motivation and inspiration is cranked to 11 and LIFE IS GOOD!

EDIT: I completely forgot to tell about my doctor's visit yesterday. I will report on that tomorrow! Got preparations for today to do! :)

:-). I had a peek at our weight chart and saw you'd lost lots .... So was keeny waiting for your journal, so I comment. So, so exciting and a little bit unbelievable... Who'd have thought you could stuff yourself and loose weight!!! Ok, it's not as simple as that... As I know you are very precise, about your calorie count. Pleased you now have company on your journey, it makes it so much easier. Enjoy your "jam" session with the kids :-).... And of course the food afterwards. Not sure what type of high calorie food you can eat at at pizza house - if it's not pizza lol
