ANOTHER new, lowest weigh-in today! :) I am ALL smiles!
It's Friday, and I am weighing less than I have in maybe 25 years! :)
I know I keep writing this, but it just amazes me that I can keep going, keep losing weight and keep enjoying my life while doing it. I had no idea that it was going to be such a (in the grand perspective) simple thing to lose all this weight. I really feel that I have found the formula that works for me, and I see and feel it working every day.
Today I weigh in at 92.8 kgs - I have now lost 1 full kg since my weigh in Saturday morning, just before my spike day. I still have tomorrow's weigh in too, who knows - maybe I can squeeze it down further?
Tomorrow's weigh in will be affected my several factors though. Normally, I lose a lot of weight for Saturdays due to a couple of things (I think). I play in rehearsal with my band. I play bass, which is not a very physically demanding instrument, but I do stand up for about 4 hours with a 9 lbs bass guitar around my neck. Surely that burns some calories. Then, I concentrate. While this is not a physical activity, I do belive that it burns energy. And also, I stay up late compared to week days, so my resting mode kicks in a few hours later than normal.
Tonight, music is cancelled. Instead, we will meet a new friend (woohoo!) for the first time. This means hanging out at our house and Wife's awesome cooking. Not sure that this is a good alternative, when it comes to weight loss. I will, of course, ensure that I stay wihin my calories, and I will try to do other little things throughout the day to be a little more active than I would normally be on a regular Friday. We'll see what happens.
No matter what, I don't think I'll be gaining a whole lot for tomorrow. And if I do, I have already been a full kg down since last week and that is good enough for me. But wish me luck regardless.
Life is good! :)

Good luck...... I know I keep saying it... But it's awesome. I keenly look for your post every morning, to get an update on your "spike" regime. Can't wait to see wha Saturda brings - shame it's off your normal routine so you can get an accurate "feel" for it .... But you have to have a life LOL and sometimes, it does us good to have a change :-)

I try to journal EVERY day, but I do realize that my journals during the weekends are a little light. I will try to write more, though they'll come in later than usual, Sk1nny. :) I am confident that the Spike days really do help me. And to Di Happy (and others who have asked) - I will find time to explain the Spiking I do for all of you, in a little more detail. It's based on "The Spike Diet", but I have modified it to my needs.
