So, I try to fix my plateau, try to get back to losing weight. I agree with everyone in the community here on FatSecret - I probably DO need to eat a little more, and I should probably exercise more. I'm a slacker when it comes to exercise and I know I have not done enough.
So yesterday, I up my calorie intake with 300 cals to 2000, and I'm gonna stick there. I also decide to take a 2+ mile walk, which actually turns into a very successful, though unplanned, first attemt at jogging. Wow! I have not jogged in probably EVER, and if I did it would have had to be because I was in a rush or someone was after me!
Anyways, my jerk of a body feels that I need to be rewarded for this, so I gain 1100 grams! What the hell? Oh, well. I know that changing things around, especially if I have been in too large a calorie deficit for too long, will make my body cling to what I'm giving it. I can see the logic in gaining weight once I give my body more to work with. I just hope that it'll reward me by releasing more very soon. I am today at 99.9 kgs, and I really do NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT want to be over 100 again. I think I will be though. :(
Still, I have lost 55 kgs, more than a 1/3 of my body weight, and more IS coming off. I just have to do this better, which is NOT necessarily harder. Actually, if I am eating too little, it shouldn't be too difficult to eat a little more, should it? :)
Life is good.
