177.2 this morning ... down a tad more. I wonder why all of the sudden my body decided to let go of a few pounds?

My stress level is significantly up. Prostate cancer. The medical issues alone are enough. The emotional dynamics are tough. His way of "dealing" ... my way of "dealing." We went through this 2 years ago when he was first diagnosed ... I hope to be better at letting go and supporting him to handle it "his way" this time. I got myself pretty tweaked last rodeo. And, I'm scared I'll turn to eating to cope. Don't want to do that.

So ... I get to practice the journey in many ways ... taking each day at a time, each twist and turn in the path, realizing that I have really no control over anything outside of me. UGH. Joy. Life.

I'm so sorry about your husband. I think your awareness of your likely reactions to stressors will help you stay ahead of it. I appreciate your attitude very much.

I've been reading your journal carefully lately, you've been such a friend. I was afraid of something like that and indeed I'm so sorry to hear you confirm it. It is my understanding that it is usually a slow moving cancer and not necessarily lethal. If you would care to comment, is it at an advanced stage, or has it metastasized? God bless you both moose.

Best of luck to you - I think you can focus on your health so that you can support your husband - I hope you can think of yourself and your husband and stay on the positive: he will need you to be at your best and you are doing great at it so far.

You hang in there girl. I know how scary this all is for you. Stay the course. Overeating as you know never solves anything and I know you will do just fine. You know all my love and support are there for you both. Love you.

((((((hugs)))))) Sending comforting and healing thoughts to you and your husband. I can't imagine how worried you must be. Do the best you can to take care of yourself, buddy! You can't control your husband's health unfortunately, but you can make the best of yours.

Two years ago the tumor was small. We don't yet know what it looks like now ... but I'll keep y'all posted. Info you are right, prostate cancer is usually slow growing and most men die of something else before the prostate cancer is fatal. Usually. Thanks my dear friends ... I know I'm not alone ... the only thing predictable in life is change ... some changes are just more welcome than others.
