I'm sitting at 135 with no movement in sight. Decreased/Increased calorie intake but no go. Increased exercise, still not a movement. Just bobbling at 135 and I'm pissed off that through all the effort, nada. Am I increasing muscle mass? Lots of exercise. Being diligent in recording all calories and exercise. Am I missing something?

I think it starts getting harder to lose when you start approaching your goal. Even I (with lots left to lose) will have a week or so where my weight just bobs at stable or even goes up a pound and then the weight starts to go down again. Be patient and you’ll see the loss. Or switch up your routine a bit to help kick start it.

Would / could changing up the variety of foods you eat have any effect?

You have been at 135 for two weeks. I wish I was at the same spot, I would be thrilled! Sorry I don't have any ideas of why, just saying hang in there, you are obviously doing something right to have lost and maintain the loss.

I don't quite know how my body knows ...but when I get stressed my metabolism slows to defend/fend off my anxiety ? I had it approaching "onederland" and again at my first goal. Now I have been struggling with it this past year with a naturally age-related decreasing metabolism. All I can do is continue to log, visit and tweak exercise and food one day at a time. My best to you. Thank you for reminding me how vigilant we have to be. Stay here with us. It really works.

Yes, I have been severly stressed lately. Could that be it? I entertained a job helping eldly folk that needed companionship and help doing normal household tasks and I found they were asking for so much more, like frigging weeding, cleaning garages, doing crap that I hire someone to do. LOL Yes, stressed is real and I quit. Not only because it wasn't jobs I wanted but the stress on my only vehicle over dirt/potholes trying to get to them. I feel bad, but I just can't do it.

ho·me·o·sta·sis /ˌhōmēəˈstāsəs/ Learn to pronounce noun the tendency toward a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes.

It may be that this is the weight your body wants to be.

In the end we are all cavemen. Our bodies want to drag us back to where ever it wants to be. It don't want too much muscle that burns alot of calories, and it wants to hold onto fat to make sure we can survive when there is no food around. You will eventually push pass this.

okay, that confused the heck out of me lol. Not stable with all the "I quit" but it's okay, I'll find something that really contributes rather than be an easy target for those that just want lawn/cleaning/garage work.

Sometimes you tend to lose inches even though you aren’t losing weight, if you are exercising and the weight is muscle a measuring tape or using the fit of your clothes can help you appreciate your body is moving in the right direction:)

Yes, my spandex pants are no longer spandex but rather loose x. lol they look like my skin loose and wrinkled. lol I'm just saying wtheck is going on for not losing weight when everything else is great.

I will tell you what my nutritionist just told me. The inches off are more important than the weight lost, especially when you are at your goal weight. Also if you are working out alot that could contribute to no weight loss. 💜💪💪💜
