No change bummer these 6.8 pounds are here to stay I guess🤷‍♀️ I'm mean no cardio or even walking more than 3,000 steps I'm surprised it isn't more. I'm going to go with it's muscle mass gain because all I do for physical activity is strength training in 2 wks it will be 5 months since my foot injury which btw only has healed 50% next Friday going to Boston for a second opinion not satisfied with the answer you were born with your low flow venous malformation in a random spot 😑 and you will never be able to jog/run again oh & by the way you are at higher risk for DVT there's nothing we can do because the risk outweigh the benefits😔 As they put it " everyone is born with a gift and this is yours" quite a gift 😒
154.8 lb Lost so far: 93.2 lb.    Still to go: 6.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I'm thinking of you as you work through this difficulty. Maybe swim workouts would be good for you? I wonder if there's an affordable option where you live. sending support ❤

JCordry, thank you🙏 there's a YMCA next to my house with affordable options but I can't swim lol will have to learn somehow after years of swiming as a teenager I stopped for 10 yrs and forgot now I float with floaties😂😂

Even if you can't swim, there are workouts you can do it water. There are water aerobics classes. You can walk or run in the water, either in place with a belt that supports you or in chest deep water. You could get a kickboard and do lengths just kicking. Most Ys have adult swim lessons as well - I used to teach them. The mild pressure of the water is great for venous return.

OMG, everything is triggering me this morning. Bullsh*t. you do need to find the right person to guide you. I know you're a baby, but if there are senior resources nearby, you will have access to water and water exercises, call and tell them what's going on, someone will help point you in the right direction. a doc's prescription will help with costs and access. they also have water treadmills. no, I don't have one, but they had one in the pool where I lived in Georgia and that was at the local YMCA. can you ride a stationary bike? the kind with clip-ins would keep that foot stable and allow you to move. I just read that there's a "peloton fatigue" out there, maybe someone is selling their bike - doesn't need to be a peloton, there are plenty of low cost options and I'm pretty happy with the apple fitness + workouts on my tv, that's pretty low cost. guess this means I need to get off my a$$ this morning and start moving, huh?

liz, and Katsolo, tell me about it is 80% the cause of my anxiety no definite diagnosis or prognosis and fear of gaining all the weight I loss back 😔 so stressful and depressing. Thanks for your ideas and options most of these things you mentioned I didn't know about nice to know I have options. I have a treadmill which I'm thinking if selling and getting the stationary bike which is low impact and I could do I'm to have to change my whole workout plan.

yes it is I'm a patient of theirs too my hemotologist is there she's the best but I'm going to a vascular surgeon in Brigham Womans Hospital that I was referred to initialy by the Dr. that treats my chronic venous insufficiency instead I thought my place of employment would treat me better I should've listened. I think is a big cover up because I got injured while at work not to mention 2 yrs ago I had an oxygen tank fall on that same foot had to be off my foot for a month an half😒

Sorry, you are going through so much. You dont need to know how to swim, you can excercise in the shallow end. Water provides resistance to any movement. Maybe there's a water aerobics class somewhere. Does your YMCA have equipment besides a pool?

Before you go to Boston for your second opinion consultation be sure to read up on what your medical issue is so you can ask good questions. Have you done that already? I posted a screen print of an article all about what your problem is and how it is commonly dealt with. Lots of articles on the subject I just choose this one to post here. If you need assist pulling this stuff up send me your email and I will be glad to send some articles/info for you.
