We are going up the mountain today instead, for my son will be able to met there and help us. He’ll be in that area anyway, and it gave Al a whole day of pure sleep, no buzzing, chirping, chiming, or peeping. No one waking him for vitals or blood samples or taking meds. Plus, it is frustrating to be waken up when the medicine is a sleeping pill.😆
I hope there’s no one in FS family who would believe for one moment that we would even vaguely be so inept to not appreciate the grueling work of the doctors and especially the nurses running around, with their constant tasking, and the endless hours of energy with the emotional and mental, plus physical toll it bares on them, for that would just transcend all stupidity!!!!!
They are and by the Grace of God superheroes!!! Nurses are one of the great blessings bestowed upon the patients. Too often we underestimate the power of the Lord in their lives as well!!! Plus, they are the only humans that can discuss puke and bowel movements at the lunch table and no one flinches. Nurses are just angels in comfortable shoes!!! 💕 Plus, don’t mess with them, as they are paid to poke people with sharp objects!😆

I'm glad he can be in the mountains. And don't worry about what some might interpret as complaints. Some doctors and nurses are amazing and hard workers, but as in any job, not everyone and some complaints are justified!

Back in the day when patients had been on ventilators for 10 days they needed to have tracheostomies performed to prevent the tube from eroding their esophagus. Most were too unstable to take to the OR for that so the docs just scheduled them to be done in the unit at lunch time. We, the nurses, never got to leave the department for lunch so ate at the nurses station and just watched the procedures being done while we ate.

Donnie we got it done just my hubby and I. So happy to have that over with! God did give my husband strength to help. He himself, kept thanking the Lord!👏👏👏👍❤️🌺🌸🌼🌻
