I’m back to recording all calories and that is a huge part of being healthy period! 😊
Doctors are always working to preserve our health and cooks to destroy it, but the latter are the more often successful ones.😁
I will be good, but I can’t help thinking of all the women on the Titanic that waved off the dessert cart.🥲
Have a Fantastic Friday!🌺

Yeah, recording can be a pain but for me, it helps me see my pitfalls … not that they still can’t happen in the weak moments! Hang n there! You got this!!

Oh my, I never thought about those poor women! I always say, Enjoy it Now as we aren't promised tomorrow!

So many people have asked me, how are you doing it in the last 6 months. I tell everyone, the only thing that has ever really worked for me is to meticulously track and log every single thing I eat to the best of my ability. I am certainly moving more, too, but tracking is my actual superpower and I plan to do it until my feeble brain shuts off some day hence.

Thanks Javadali, with CICO you can’t go wrong unless you don’t track. I for sure need to track as a little here and a little there can really add up = what you call a pitfall.🙃

Oh Catwmncat, I could never go on a cruise, there’s no way - I wouldn’t gain 20lbs, I’d gain 40!😫

Gastropod, that is why this app is priceless in the ability to track calories. Plus, it’s not that hard to do here, just a little effort and it’s totally worth it! I don’t know why I had let it get away from me, but my brain is already feeble and I am still tracking. 😊

Shrewd, you and I are of the same mind about cruises. Being trapped at sea in the near vicinity of a massive floating buffet would be deadly for me.

So much walking and taking everything in both on and off the ship that I've lost weight on every cruise (12 total) and NEVER, EVER pass on dessert!!! 🍨🍦🍰🎂🍩🍪🍫😊

Agree with Catwncat. I've always lost weight on vacations, cruises or otherwise. Not a lot, but enough to make me scratch my head and wonder what was up. I think I attributed it to extra activity and reduced stress, but thinking back I usually just ate breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner no matter where I was vacationing. I ate whatever I wanted until I was satisfied. It was a natural pattern that I broke when I dieted and tried to spread my limited calories out over a longer period of time in order to try to not get hungry.

Love like you're on the Titanic. Eat like you're going to live forever. That's how Snoop stays lean!

Catwmncat and TW, I must be lazy on vacations! 🙃 Yet, not exactly sure, as I don’t go on hardly any. 🥲

Jimmie, you’re right one should love as if on the Titanic!!!! That’s a problem when gratification is just about food!😟
