A lot going on yesterday and today, so will log and hope you all enjoy the last day of this beautiful weekend!

Ate, swam, drank, ate, stretched, cleaned pool, stretched, and ate yesterday. Very little nutritional food, reminded me a lot of college days which is not something to be celebrated. Glad I left that behind me.

Trimmed the birds above the pool, then cleaned the pool, including filters. Hot, crappy work. Having extra people in it that don't get it makes it a lot more time consuming. If it becomes a thing next year, I'll probably buy a sweeper of some sort. Not my favorite thing to do, but it's done. The UV filter replacement comes Monday and I can cut back on the chlorine again which is awesome.

Stretched a ton of times working lower back to fix this freaking sciatic. I can't believe I'm as flexible as I am considering I never do it unless I need to. Not in a structured way anyhow. I do tend to stretch my arms and upper back in doorways and my calves on the thresholds. Always have. There's a lot that's not great, can work on that. Watched a good number of videos, I cause my own problems. Idiot.

The swim ended up being pretty good. Love, love, love the new headphones. I can use Siri from the watch to change the music to my mood. Last year I was pretty much stuck in the 700's, this year, I'm hitting mid 800's consistently and the heart rate is good. 858 strokes, average heart rate was 147, 10.2METs, but I did stop and answer a text mid set. Only because we were going out, otherwise would have waited until I was done.

I really like this new brewery tasting room. San Diego has finally moved on from just focusing on hops and I had a nice sour followed by a cloudy pale ale. They don't do food, I don't really care. Had two beers and left. No other BS. More college memories without the drama associated with learning how to adult.

Shasta says she did not dig this hole that fits her oh so perfectly, but she will just take advantage of it anyways. Unfortunately the bare roots of the jasmine are going to have to be covered today and she will have to move on.

In other news, my very favorite pair of Fit flops that I've had forever must go into the trash this morning. Wore them around the house yesterday and was coming upon strange bits of rubber as I walked around. It was the tread. Dissolving. They are done, they've already been replaced but I haven't been wearing the new ones. Not as comfortable but even I can't ignore the signs of a life well lived. I need to move on to new adventures in new ones.

I think I'm going to make a waffle this morning to apologize to my digestive track for yesterday's adventures in reliving the stupidity of my younger days. I did eat a can of tuna prior to going out, but that was really the only nutritious food all day long. No fruit, no veggies, nothing. Unless you count the greek yogurt and relish I put in the tuna. LOL

Aah, Shasta looks adorable in her comfy hole. My late dog, Max, used to have a couple of spots in our garden he loved in summer too. Great to do some good stretching! Hope you feel better soon!

I feel that shoe attachment. I live in driving shoes pretty much year round. I replaced my "dailies" after last summer's car crash which left the left stained by a couple drops of blood. New ones aren't even broken in, even though I am starting to wear through... And IIH I kinda like the blood stain.

Greek yogurt in the tuna, Chris. Instead of mayo. Try it, you’ll live, maybe even love it. Same as mock tartar sauce.

My greek yogurt is vanilla flavored, so that may need some cilantro.
