kingkeld's Journal, 03 February 2014

Hello everyone. :)

Just a short journal and weigh-in today.

I don't really have the mental capacity to do a lot today, and I have a lot to do, so the journal will have to be low priority.

Just wanted to weigh in - Almost three kilos lighter than the crazy high weight yesterday - and just let you guys know that I am still alive.

I am meeting with a psychologist Wednesday morning.

I should be able to work out first, and then simply walk out there. It's a 45 minute walk - it'll do me good.

Other than that, everything is pretty much the same.

I did choose to sleep in, and NOT get up as I normally do. I was SO tired and I just wanted to sleep. I think that's why I'm dragging my feet more than usual today. No good.

I went and did my workout, and upped to 4 reps per machine. I did good. I had no pains from the backache like I did last time, no sharp pains or anything.

One thing though, I started at a different place in the circle of machines, and I could tell that the last ones were a LOT harder. I think I was too tired for a few of those that really kick my rear. I will have to remember to not do that another time. It's better to just wait my turn and start as I always do.

...

I have a bunch of inbox messages waiting for, and I just wanted those who wrote to me to know that I will get to them. Right now, there is just too much going on around me. I'm sorry. :) Everyone WILL get a reply.

...

Today, I*m thankful for:
- Sleep. I have needed it for weeks.
- Wife. For being amazing.
- Beautiful weather in Denmark. Looks like spring is coming.

Life is good.

Send some spring this way. Forecast here for the next ten days never gets higher then 44 and will be reaching -9. :/ Happy to hear you got a good workout in and I am sorry your still struggling with sleep. Have you ever thought about getting something lavender and or chamomile like a candle or lotion to help relax you before bed?

Glad to hear you got some sleep, but I know what you mean about being sluggish after having more than normal - almost like a sleep hangover! Are you into Yoga at all? I came across a yoga sleep aid when I was pregnant. Lie down on your back, with feet and arms in a relaxed comfortable position, and mentally think of each part of you going to sleep, starting at your toes and working up - it really helps me, and I rarely get past my ribcage nowadays!

Sometimes our bodies just NEED some more sleep - especially with the mental stresses you have been going through. Be kind to yourself. I do the same yoga sleep aid as clairebuxton - it really works. Hope you have a great day!

You are in my thoughts all the time. I know this is a very difficult time for you. Eventually things will settle and pass. In the midst of the storm it is lovely to have a loving wife and supportive friends. You are a very blessed/lucky/however you want to say it man. Take care Keld.
