I'm not sure if it's allergies or acid reflux, but the coughing stayed yesterday and is getting worse today. last episode was 5 days ago. it might be this new bread I made, it's the only thing i can think of.

19 more days of no coffee on this reflux diet 😬😬😬 But it's helping to lose weight, so anyways a positive. at least I'll come out of this tracking my food again.
150.8 lb Lost so far: 12.2 lb.    Still to go: 25.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 10 June 2021:

Thanks! Further inspection of yesteryear food makes me think today's coughing is due to too much spices :-(

I went through this same thing recently. I stayed on a low acid diet for 6 weeks. I missed coffee the most, so I slowly integrated it back in. But I stop at one cup now. As long as I don't eat too many high acidic foods in one day, I can usually tolerate a small amount. Eating slower and chewing my food well really helped too. Good luck!!!

Thank you! I'll probably need to limit my coffee as well once I add it back in. The hard part is days like today where I'm not sure what caused it :-( and I did go overboard on eating today too, so hopefully tomorrow is better!

Yeah, I can't do coffee and tomato soup in the same day. My system rebels.
