Shrewdness's Journal, 12 May 2021

I was so happy that I stayed the same. Now every pound, or may I say ounce, is a bit of a struggle. I have to say, calories in equals calories out, I am doing well eating-wise, it’s exercise-wise. 🙃
I’m not even walking, so to keep going in the right direction I need to at at least spend a little energy in walking.
I just never stop what I’m doing at my desk. You would think I get plenty of exercise – jumping to conclusions, pushing my luck, and dodging deadlines.😁

thought of you yesterday mama. local greenhouse sign reads I love spring from my head tomatoes.. 😝😝 last year it said I'm so excited for spring I wet my plants. happy Wednesday!!

Not having a gain is a victory! You are close to your goal! The pounds will drop! But, why does one gain looking at a donut but doesn’t lose reading an exercise manual? Have a fabulous day!

Really love your sense of humor😂. Haven't worked a desk job in years, I can't sit still (ADHD). When I did I bought one of those under desk cycles and loved it, it was especially helpful when responding to emails that irritated me, I always got some good speed going reading those.

I'm not a big exerciser, either, but I have found that swapping certain foods for naturally lower calorie ones reduces my total caloric intake significantly. Is there anything that is "extra" in your meal plan (snacks, desserts, etc.) that can be swapped? Or is it possible to shave off about 1/4 of the portion size of each meal?

I am right there with you! Between working full time and being a full time student there is not a lot of time to get out and walk. I am trying to find that balance. Praying you find yours as well! You are doing better than me, I keep going up and down. Blessings!!

You'll get there Shrew, exercise is coming. I tell myself to respect my seasons, it won't always be this way and I hope for you it won't always be so busy, good things is that you are longing to exercise I think that counts also. I heard of a colleague who bought an exercise ball to sit at her desk, could that work, plus one of the desks that can raise so you can stand for 30 mins while working? 🙂 Have a great day Shrew. 🙏🏽💞
