Shrewdness's Journal, 18 April 2021

Absolutely not weighing in today!! Hubby made a surprise dinner late last night and I had already had my calories for the day. 🙃
Then this morning I woke up realizing I didn’t take my thyroid pill last night and you have to take that with a whole glass of water.
I will track my calories, I am not off the hook that way. If you eat standing up the calories all go to your feet anyway and you can just walk them off. 😁

It’s a beautiful Sunday morning and a great opportunity to thank the Lord for reminding us how blessed we are!🌸
179.6 lb Lost so far: 41.3 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I was told never to eat standing up bc I won't get full that way. I did, however, read somewhere, that we should eat like the Romans did....on our stomachs. This way, we get the fuller feeling faster....go figure.... (*_-)

I had fresh trout for dinner last night. Eating slowly, trying to pick out bones is a sure way to give the brain a chance to catch up with the stomach and register —- IM FULL, PUT THE DAMN FORK DOWN.

Will try lying on my stomach while eating to feel full faster!😁 Thanks Sheila! Kenna I haven’t had trout in a long while. Nothing beats fresh trout! Ridemariel, along with Kenna, my husband always makes sure there is a piece of bread close by while having fish with tiny bones. If you get a bone stuck in your throat you swallow a piece of bread and it clears the throat. Plus, he loves bread. Thanks Ettenauj, I will be walking today for sure, I have a lot of calories to burn off those feet!😁🌺
