SPRING RECOMP 2021 - DAY 12

Calories down. Deadlift up.

Pushed through the back drama yesterday and hit the gym. Right choice. Big stretches, small increments, technique adjustment, and I got my lift. 10 X 165 or something. I get that this is a joke of a dead. Just thrilled to beat my number and walk out of the gym feeling better than when I went in.

Everything is looser this morning. Insomnia hit last night again out of the blue and I took the opportunity to stretch and sit a bit. Failed to program my flex/accessory work over the weekend as planned. Forward.

Food consumption is headed in the right direction. Down from like 3600 last week to 3000 this week just passed and 2700 yesterday. Squeezing the fat out. Jury's out on the quart of "anabolic" chunky monkey that, inspired by @Katsolo, I whipped up yesterday. Chunky appears to have all descended to the bottom of the monkey.... Also need to count up the calories and macros...

Office upgrade materiel is set to arrive this week. Looking forward to getting back to a standing desk and to having a more user friendly workspace. Pretty certain I have earned it.

Apparently the greatest generation is impervious to vaccine side effects. At least one of us is! Giving myself permission to take off as much time as necessary post vaxx 2.0. Lifting daily until then.

Def looking better in the mirror up 10#. Bloofy, but the strength and physique, such as it is, is coming right back. Getting some unsolicited attention from younger members of the fairer sex, which usually kicks in south of 14%. Right on schedule.

A "standing Desk" is totally *Badass*. I "wish" I had the guts for that kinda commitment 👍🏾

@adef Not that big of a deal, brother. I ordered one of those motorized frames that goes up and down. Last time I tried fixed in the standing position, which was not the best.
