Excellent - glad you did not have a big reaction

Thanks, HCB I'm hearing that the second dose is more likely to cause a reaction.

That's scary! What type of reaction(s)? Does it cost to get the vaccine? HOw much?

@Slow Meta - the second dose knocked me well on my butt for a day. Mostly just body aches, some chills, a wee tiny fever, and extreme lethargy, but it was only for a day and I knew it was coming so I stocked up on pedialyte and soup the day before, and was able to call out of work. Was back to 100% the day after. Much prefer a day of that to a week of covid, or worse! The vaccines are free, but you'll need to contact your state or county health department (if you're in the US) to see if you qualify. They're progressing through the population according to age, health, and whether or not you're an essential employee (I work in health care). Eventually it will be available to everyone, but since supply is limited atm they're trying to prioritize. =) Thankfully the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was recently approved as well, so soon we'll have access to three - and the J&J vaccine doesn't need deep cold storage or a booster (neat!), so they're hoping to be able to distribute that one through commercial outlets.
