Cindy Thompson's Journal, 20 January 2011

A great big thank you to all who answered my questions about low carb yogurt and low carb wraps. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Weight the same.

Packing for trip to New Hampshire today. Leaving in the morning tomorrow. Noticed that some flights were delayed today at Lambert Airport here in St. Louis. Overland got 12 inches of snow last night and this morning. We are supposed to get more snow but don't know how much.

Picking up more photo's at Walgreen's today. I didn't get many photo's in the photo albums yet. Maybe this is something that I can do in the airport and airplane tomorrow. Just want my son and daughter in law to be able to see some family pictures. Also, I plan to take as many pictures as they will let me take when I'm out there. Can't wait to hold my precious little grandaughter.

Hope everyone is staying warm, cool, and safe. The cool is for those of you who live in Florida or other warmer climates.

Thanks Leanne! And yes the pads are packed on the outside pocket of my carry-on luggage. It's amazing how much more clothes fit in a suitcase these days compared to a year ago. Next year should be even better. I still have 64 more pounds to get to my goal. Thanks Sophie! Hugs back at ya!{{{}}}

Thanks Keli and Evie! Trying not to have high expectations and yet so excited that the day is almost here. I'll have to tell ya'll about it when I return. Probably won't be on here until Monday unless I have an internet connection to record my food. Still have my trusty little red carb counter that I will be tracking with and writing down everything that I put in my mouth. We will probably go out to eat a couple of times. My son and daughter in law do not have a very big apartment. We are staying in a hotel near by. He feels bad about that. I just told him that we are glad to get to see all of them. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. I love ya'll! Hugs{{{}}}

Good morning Cindy....it has stopped snowing here...we got about 8-9 inches, and it is beautiful. I am praying that your flight is n ot delayed in any way tomorrow and that your visit with your son, DIL, and new granddaughter, Simone, is wonderful!! Have a great day, Cindy...hug, love ya, 'sis', and, yes, we can do it with God's help and a hand from our FS friends!

Ya know what? I think it stopped snowing here too. I love snow when I don't have to drive or ride in it, unless it's a sleigh ride. It is very pretty though. Sometimes when I look at the snow I think of how Jesus made our hearts white as snow when he shed His PRECIOUS BLOOD. We are very blessed to have a God who loves us so much that He sent His Son to die and live again. Thanks for the prayers for our trip. Have a great weekend 'sis'! Love and hugs{{{}}}
