I miss you guys and I am sorry I haven't been around. I hope to catch up on your journals soon and see what is going on with you. Planning a wedding is much harder than I thought, especially on top of school and work. I bought my wedding dress, though, and its a one-size-fits-most wrap, which means that I don't have to worry about losing (or not losing) a few more pounds before the big day.
I thought I'd share with you another little triumph. You know how I am always trying to get my fiance healthier? He drinks TONS of soda. I have him mostly switched to the caffiene free, but I was still worried about the aspartame, especially since we found out that he has elevated liver enzymes, which is linked to aspartame. He had said he was addicted and didn't want to quit and didn't think he could. Yesterday I made him some almost-calorie-free lemonade out of carbonated water, lemon juice and stevia. He said he likes it and is willing to switch. I was so happy! Just an idea for anyone else who wants to get off the diet soda but can't quite make the switch to water.
