Debbie Cousins's Journal, 06 January 2021

Been locked out of FatSecret since early last night. Tried everything to fix it. Kept getting the same error message. Just now, I FINALLY looked up online how to clear my cookies, and that resolved the problem. Trying to use the phone app while I was locked out was a real challenge! I kept a Word document with all of the foods and amounts I'd eaten, so I wouldn't lose track of anything. I WAS able to enter most things, with the exception of having to select 1/2-cup of milk for my cereal because it doesn't have a 1/3 cup option on the app. I've survived worse tragedies, LOL.

Glad to be back in! I have several new recipes that I've been inputting, and I haven't been able to do any today - so now I have to play catch up.

Weight was down another pound this morning, PTL. I wasn't very hungry last night, so I pretty much skipped dinner and my calorie count ended up being less than 1,400. So far (since my re-start on 12/27), I've been able to stay under 2,000 Calories every day but one, and I didn't go over by much that day.

Making healthier choices for my snacking. Got ingredients just now to make Smoothies, but I could NOT find any full-fat yogurt at Food Lion. Looking for PLAIN yogurt with full fat and no sugar or other ingredients. Any suggestions?

Yes, while Mom was living with us, was trying to get her to gain weight. The highest fat I could find was Cabot Whole Milk Plain Greek Yogurt (https://www.cabotcheese.coop/product/plain-greek-yogurt/). It ends up with 10% milk fat. I bought it at Publix, but there appears to be a list of places on their website. Or call them./// If you want the most calories, the Liberte small cups had the most calories. ///Note: The serving sizes have been reduced on many yogurts, and calories and nutritional increments have changed over time. I often shoot for the ones with no added sugar and no fat, then look for the one with the fewest carbs. May have to convert from 2/3 or 3/4 cup services to 1 cup to compare them. Takes too much time.
