Katsolo's Journal, 04 November 2020

Walked medium walk last night because I just wanted to stay off the big streets and close to home. It got super foggy while we were out, that made the final decision. Not scared of serial killers hiding in the shadows or anything like that, mostly drivers that aren't paying enough attention anyways and the fog makes it even worse.
I think once the almonds and chocolate chips are gone that I'm going to take a month or so off from them and not buy again until January. I'm not a fan of going to Costco during the holidays in general, so that's super easy. Realized I'm currently in a chicken rut, will work my way out of that, too. Now that it's cooler, easy to cook again, so soup and other Fall things like acorn squash and ginger pumpkin soup! I have a really pretty one waiting to be baked on the next cold night. Expecting this bump to drop tomorrow. Salt from the restaurant spaghetti sauce, bread, and other things eaten yesterday add up and then go away.

Do you ever walk alone? With your pack of hounds, I can't imagine you would ever fear going anywhere, but traffic... Yes!

I walk completely alone when I'm meeting someone locally for food or drinks as long as I'll be home in relative daylight or at least when people are still out. My neighborhood is much better than when I moved here, but there's still crazy stuff that happens in an urban environment.
