Bearnoggin and Petra, thank you, but you are too kind! 😁 Sadly I am not even "blue" right now. I've got some "reasons" you ladies will understand, but I also am not working out as often as I should and nibbling far too much. And... Tomorrow I have a boy turning 18, and I have so much food I'm planning to make for him. Unless I have a brief dip tomorrow morning, I'm thinking it will take me until the end of the week to see "blue" again. But. I'll be trying! ❤️

Haha! Thanks guys. I know what's coming tomorrow... French toast, sausage and homemade syrup. Homemade pizzas... Huge ones! Of all things, he asked for carrot cake like mine. Do you have any idea how many calories that is? 😁 He also wants pumpkin pie from Costco! There will be other snacks too. Party on!

Princess, thankfuly during most of the year we don't have too many celebrations, but within six weeks after Christmas I have FOUR kids with birthdays. Insanity! Now that they are big "kids," it is easier, but good grief... Party after party after party when they were little.

Thanks Petra! I hope so! And I hope we can make it kind of special for him. He really has lost touch with high school friends because he did running start full time. Covid messed up having in person connections over the summer. And now that he is back in college it is all remote. He sees none of the friends he was making last year at college. I am thankful his best friend is his oldest sis, and we will try to make it a nice day for him... In between him turning in physics and calculus homework he has due.

No doubt you will knock any gain off quickly. Happy Birthday to your boy. We have do many family birthdays around the fall and winter holidays. I certainly plan on enjoying every one that I can. Life is too short. I can always cut back before and after.

Aww! You are such a great mum. Happy Big 18 to your son. Enjoy! I miss those days of "Will you make me a plate mom" from my son. 💙

Thank you guys so much for your encouragent and faith that I can do OK. I am actually taking a few days off weighing in. I enjoyed some special treats and time with the family. I don't feel I did horribly, but I just want to focus on logging and being careful and working out for a bit, and I'll weigh in when I feel ready. I get too focused and fixated on the numbers sometimes. It helps keep me accountable, but right now I need a little less pressing on me to worry about. ❤️
