Hi Lauie! The power went out here. Brrr...and no computer. We are on a generator until the fuel runs out. Hope they fix the problem soon. Two days in a row without heat is too cold. My muscles, joints and bones hurt.

Oh, my word, Cindy is that in St. Lou? They haven't said a word about no power on the news, and I would think that would be a biggie in this cold. What in the world is the problem? Bundle up and try to stay warm...at least they are calling for it to warm a bit today.

My son-in-law called. He said that the landlord was on his way out before going to work to check on the problem. Supposedly there is no power problem. Just a Chad problem...he can't seem to get out of bed in the morning. I think the man needs a tool for Christmas. The breaker box is locked or I would try to fix it myself.

Brr...stay warm, bundle up until the heat gets fixed...if the Guitar man must play you can't go wrong with John Lennon.:) If you venture out, be careful...you are totally at a disadvantage.

The landlord and the postman must be on the same schedule. I heard the generator sound like it quit. It is usually so noisy. I'll take noisy over cold though. It's not to bad today though...just above freezing now at 33 degrees.

Need to finish packing so that tomorrow will go smoother. The landlord showed up just a few minutes ago. At least he beat the mailman timewise. I'd like to start my day out at 12:30pm. He doesn't recieve calls after 5pm either. This is why my son-in-law usually does the odd jobs himself and keeps the reciepts to turn in for credit on his rent. Of course he has to get permission before he does something. Now we can turn the heat back on. We are blessed to have a generator.
