Katsolo's Journal, 10 September 2020

Rest day last night. Moving around wasn't helping my back, so just found a comfortable position on the couch and took it easy. Today is going to be another long day at the desk, too. I might try a short walk during the day to keep circulation going so things can heal.

Hope it goes well. That is the worst... waiting for these things to get better.

I am so not good at sitting around unless I'm sick. Hanging upside down is not an option either. Not because it doesn't feel good, but because I'm unsure about being able to get back up right now.

I am so sorry you aren't feeling your best. Hang in there even if you can't literally.

Try lying in the floor with pillows under your knees. A more solid surface and legs gatched at the knees is supposed to be an anatomically correct position— it straitens the spine. I have an acquaintance with back problems at times and she will sleep on a yoga mat or good camping mat on the floor. Works for her every time. Condition dependent of course.

Kenna, took some of this advice last night and slept on top of a folded travel ironing board on my bed. Helped. I’m definitely more mobile during the day, so getting better.
