After day 3 of massive surplus calories, I can say I feel absolutely great!

Result: 1950 calories beyond what I burned yesterday (4585 calories total consumed 😳) and only gained 1/2 POUND AGAIN! Amazing! 😀

Yesterday, I was a total bum and just went to the gym for an hour and napped the day away 😊.

It's been a fun run of stuffing myself and having some incredible workout-boosting energy, but the next few days are gonna be at or just below maintenance level calories (not deep cuts) for balance.

Today is scheduled for only 2800 calories and a major leg + shoulder workout. Getting after it! 💪

Ahh that is just awesome!! You are great success. Is nice!! 👍🏻😁👍🏻 Your results must mean two things: 1)Your metabolism is insane. and 2)You are crushing your workouts! It’s all about hard work, but also about balance and you’ve got it all down. 🙌🏻 I want to eat pizza and burritos too, so I’m kind of thinking I may squeeze in a workout now that I saw this post. Was going to take it easy originally, but I feel a boost of energy. So thanks for the inspo, my dude!!

it's because you almost don't notice him in serious roles even though he's almost 7' tall. kinda crazy how he blends in.

He was. But you were probably watching Wolverine the whole time. 😉

Thenardier. Look at the character pic in IMDB and you suddenly “see” him.

No, Chris. Wolverine has a very small part in Les Mis. 🤣

I should walk my comment back. He may have been in Wolverine. He was in Talledega Nights, after all. I would need to look that one up. 🤣

Not in Wolverine, nominated for an Oscar though. Who knew?

I feel a bit remiss - I've been wanting to let you know about my own reverse diet approach when I hit the 150 lb mark, which if you look at my profile was actually the initial goal weight I set. I did A LOT of research before hand, but kinda like a person just coming off of training for a physique contest, I "reverse dieted" up to see what my maintenance cals were. I did it by 2% increases. I would not increase if I gained that week, but if I continued to lose or stay the same at the next weigh in, I increased another 2% until I got to what I "thought" were my maintenance cals and they likely were at the time. However, I still continued to lose, some of which can be accounted to increased weight, sets, reps and overall activity (partly why I added the surplus days). However, I firmly suspect that reverse dieting up after being in a deficit so long really helped my metabolism and in it's own way set the stage for how it burns presently. If anything, it helped my state of mind ease into maintenance. Anywho - love the data and can relate to the wonderful pump post surplus cal days. Keep at it!
