Katsolo's Journal, 15 June 2020

Yesterday was a good day. Swam strong, #30, 854 strokes, heart rate in low 130's most of the swim, walked dogs, ate well, and by that I mean I cooked as opposed to reheating and it was tasty. It was a good weekend. My mourning doves returned, I was worried I'd lost one of the pair to the hawk, but they were up in my tree late yesterday. I dragged out a hummingbird feeder to clean up and give to my mother when she moves into the condo next week. There used to be trees across the street, they've been replaced by condos, so we'll see if the hummers are still around. This is the short week for work, eight hour days and Friday off. You know, like a normal person. I am getting my super long hair trimmed on Friday. I'm going to wash it at home and go it with it wet so no one is breathing over me. I've decided that I like the length so I'm keeping most of it. Back to June gloom on the weather which is fine, keeps it cool which is good for exercising and sleeping.

Great swim and wonderful pictures.. my pool is not on the “open” list here in California. Gyms and pools still considered high risk, I agree.

I'm really proud of my progress because I'm still moving forward more than two years later.. I didn't know if I'd be able to push forward without competition or at least a coach, which I sort of have in a friend who checks my progress.
