Day 1 of a planned 1 days of eating

The only thing I have done differently these past two days was cut my protein down 50% (by being more careful in measuring the amount of protein powder I consume).

This is still nearly 70g a day. In my experience anything over 50g a day gets added to the carbs so 20g of carbs + (100g of Protein - 50g of "Protein Credit") = 70g of "Glucose in the liver".

When I "Water Fast" my Protein and Carbs are "Zero"so I usually drop 1-2 pounds a day, however, 'Water Fasting" takes a lot of mental effort.

However, I may try it next week, because I need to lose some real 'net fat'.

@Chesgreen - It was looking at *your* numbers that made me look at my carbs/protein closer. When you go into a 'weight loss period' you don't just drop your carbs, you drop your carbs *and* your protein below 100g.

Hey adefwebserver, I am so glad I am back to logging. You maybe onto something with my numbers. If I didn't have this past F - M on mixing concrete and bumping up my carbs that high, I would have been down plenty since 6/1. Something about 75 - 100g of protein and 50 - 75g works magic for me IF I get a 4 + mile walk in. I have not run since May 4th and refuse to run again until 199lbs and below because my hips and knees hurt too much. Like you, I am always working on becoming the better me. Let's go champ. You got this. T-47 minutes until I knock out a 7 mile walk. I'm hungry and ready!!!!

@Chesgreen - Keep doing your thing man! And yeah I need to do my runs to "kick things up" when I am "being good" and keeping my carbs (and protein) low.

I should be running by 7/1 if I stay focused. I miss the runs, not the post pains.
