Swim #15, 83 days on the move streak. Getting some interesting changes with the new schedule this week. Swimming every day Monday through Thursday and double workouts on the weekend which is Thursday through Sunday. Noticing that the fat mass, we shall call it "blob," is slowly diminishing and not going back up this past week. I've been eating less chicken and more varied proteins, so that may be having an impact as well. Swims are strong last two days, feel good, 798 strokes doing lifeguard stroke yesterday for 500. When I started this weird little personal challenge, it was based off a website/channel I frequent for swimmers and the goal (pre-virus) was to swim every day because you'll just feel better. I took that with the 60 days to set a habit, and I'm 45 days in and have only missed a handful of days. I do feel better. My great aunt, who passed months shy of 101, swam every day well up into her late 90's and she was sharper than most of her friends right up until the end. I admire that, and have tried to take up the habit. If it's super hot again today, I'll swim and then try some more butterfly. I want to be able to do an IM of sorts by the end of the year, but it will be on timer. Current makes it really challenging as well. Breathe in wrong and I might as well stand under a firehose. Actually, it's more like when you first start water skiing and you don't know when to let go of the rope and get dragged through the water face first. Always hated that.

That's actually the red dog's bowl, but he cleans it when she's done and chews on it often. When he's frustrated with me, he tosses it around whatever room I'm in to get my attention. His saturation point is 1/3 of a 40# bag of dog food, so he often goes hungry. Humans aren't the only one with hunger issues.
