OK, so I have to laugh! I did not know it was possible to weigh the same for 5 days in a row. Granted, my days all pretty much look alike... My food, my activities, my quarantine life. But, here I was all worried about fluctuations when starting to record every day! 😁 My scale only shows . 2 pound differences. Today I decided to test it by grabbing a bag off the counter. Yep, the weight went up by . 4! It's working! 😁 I'll be happy when it shows a downward change, but not going up makes me rather jolly too!
149.0 lb Lost so far: 42.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good job. This has happened to me as well and even though the days are not identical scale is stuck. I have done the same thing... grabbed something to see if it was broken LOL

I experienced myself a few times (in 2012 and 2020) now when I was trying to lose the weight that my body seemed to pause for one to two weeks. Like you, I didn't change anything.And then I continued to start losing again. As if it had its own mind and was seeking a new balance! So weird.

You are blessed. Some people get freaked out by the fluctuations and you haven't had to deal with that. The most I have gone for is three days with no change. You can always make an adjustment for a few days if needed...

I was asking around the family to see if anyone had weighed themselves lately to see if they happen to have gotten exactly my reading! 😁 Yes, shirfleur, I know I'll just keep at it! 🌺I'm looking forward to a little movement the direction I want!

silkian, I've never had more than a week plateau. As a maintainer, I was looking for it. I always seem to be going one direction or another. I'd like to firmly "plateau" a few pounds from now... Just not yet! 😁

Isn't is crazy, John?!! I've been weighing very regularly... Even daily for many months and never gone more than a day or two at the same weight. I started recording here daily and... Well, I'm obviously paying much closer attention! 😁
