Up one day and down the next. Just hope the ups are higher numbers than the downs over all! I went and got a pizza yesterday and stopped at the market on the way just to see how busy they were. Not many cars and I noticed everyone coming out had milk in their carts. One lady had at least 5 gallons! You can't stock up on milk. Anyway, I went in, got a gallon of fat free milk so I can continue with my morning hot chocolate at least another week. Also bought some snacks (Doritos and cookies) and hope to be able to practice portion control to make them last. Still no soup or canned goods in that little store. Cream of mushroom soup is hard to find anywhere.
183.8 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 21.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Happy morning Fritzy... Glad you got some milk....Things are thinning out a bit here as well but it is mostly produce that is not coming in to the country. A bit sad but we will adjust.

Tonight I am looking at recipes to find the ingredients that need to be purchased. I found an easy cream of mushroom soup for you: https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/quick-cream-of-mushroom-soup/ I don't know if it is good but all you would have to do if you have the ingredients is cut the onions and prepare the mushrooms. You could also make half of the recipe.

Thanks Liv! I always look forward to your greeting on my journals every day. You always seem to see them first. The produce is really picked over in the stores. When I went in to get milk I didn't even go to the produce department. I wanted to get in and out as fast as I could. Was happy to see plenty of milk, bread, butter, eggs and cheese. Thanks Ireland - I've thought about making my on cream of mushroom soup. I use it to make gravies and scalloped potatoes. I have 2 cans in the cupboard still. Right now I don't have any mushrooms or onions to try to make it myself. Going back to the old days when we ate more processed foods instead of the healthier fresh foods. But eating processed foods or produce that lasts a long time (potatoes) means less trips to the grocery store.
