You are the blue line champion even if the slider goes up and down a bit. Means you are human and not a machine! 😁 I don't weigh in every day, and I've been struggling to get down a few pounds. I've worked out the hardest since starting this journey the last three weeks. But, my intake has gone up too... I feel starved sometimes! Your advice so long ago still sticks with me about taking maintenance as seriously as weight loss to be successful. I know I keep mentioning it, but it really does keep my centered to think of that. To remind myself that this is my lifestyle and I don't want that to change!

Thanks Melissa and Bill!!! @Melissa, I plan to eat after each workout. After a heavy workout I too sometimes feel starved and my calorie intake may go up. If I can't shake the hunger, I try to consume protein instead of fats and carbs. To me it's way better than feeling deprived. If I have ever said anything that has helped anyone, especially you, I'm elated. I'm quoting you,"To remind myself that this is my lifestyle and I don't want that to change!" I totally agree!!!

Thank you, John! Always with good advice! I do need to make sure I'm getting a lot of protein after a workout. I am also really making an affort to get to the gym five days a week. This is giving me more time for cardio, which I think might be a factor for me. I haven't been walking a lot for months, and even shorter runs outside are miserable in cold rain. I'm really going to try to get the two pounds I'm above goal to go. Might not make it for a couple weeks..... This is the long haul. 😁
