I have been so bad. That's why I haven't been on this site. I'm too embarrassed. I am so off track and just can't seem to motivate myself to get back on. I need another motivator (like Hawaii.. or an engagement to my boyfriend would help, too!!!) Help!!!
142.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 10.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

haha, I've been embarrassed too, but I figured no one will recognize me on the street and say "Hey that's the girl who ate the whole bag of potato chips and a cheese cake in an hour!" I write it here so I can look @ my progress- no one will judge you :) Maybe you should stop stressing out about it and try weight watchers for a little while? I did it, gained 5 lbs, and then decided it was time to get serious...and now things are much better.... that might sound stupid, but ti worked for me!

i've been off of the south beach diet since around christmas. since then, ive gained back the twenty pounds that i felt so good about losing. its going to happen, but you can get back on track. im restarting the diet tomorrow, and this is what i do every week-- make a chart of what your eating for breakfast, lunch, dinner, maybe snack, and exercise. this way your not like "i know i had this yesterday, but its quick and i need to eat something." you have planned out what your going to eat and how your going to workout; it helps me when im having trouble, i hope this helps some!

LADIES! Let's stop running ourselves down because we like to eat!!! You haven't been 'BAD'. Bad is for criminals. You just didn't make your own health your focus for a while. It's not a crime! You're right about just needing a motivator to get you back in the groove. Only you can decide what's important enough to make you want to get in shape. All of us have different motivators but we're all in the same boat and that's keeping the focus when so many other things distract our attention. It's not our fault if our female hormones make us predisposed to weight gain just by looking at certain foods. Never be ashamed of liking food. That's why we're all here! LOL
