WEEK: Average cals 1900, av weight 112.1

It was a good week but really cold. One morning it was -38C (36.4F) but felt like minus 50 (minus 58F) with windchill. Only minus 30 (22F) today. It is going to warm up today.

Had a good scale week but the numbers only tell one story. I had to do food "cleanup" this week as some food items had turned into sirens singing for me. I get food item obsessed. It probably has a name. LOL. And it is not just the normal sweet and fatty items. It can really be anything. I once ate so many baby carrots that my palms turned orange. I easily get obsessed with jello. I can bring most of them back after a bit and be fine. Something I just have learned to recognize and deal with.


I have issues yes. I also have this back backpack.
112.6 lb Lost so far: 73.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think you burn more calories in cold weather! Great on maintaining. It's better to be food obsessed with baby carrots and jello than the items that call to me - Ruffles potato chips and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Haven't had ice cream for several months and nothing bad since my gallstone attacks about 6 weeks ago.

1900 average calories is awesome. A baby carrot or jello "issue" is not bad...I go through small habits from time to time (bread, apples with peanut butter). I think it is our bodies telling us we need something. You are doing great! :0)

Love the backpack and yeah, I know the 'food thing'. I do it too. Right now it's pistachios. In bed. So I have to 'crumb' the sheets every morning but does that stop me? No.

Wow! What Drag said! I didn’t make the connection. 1900 calories at 112 pounds? You are a walking calorie burning machine! Haven’t looked around your page but you must do lots of cardio and weights daily? Rock on!

I think right now I can probably average 2100 cals and not gain weight. I do cardio and weights probably most days yes. I read a study last week that said that most long term maintainers maintain largely through exercise because they tend to keep eating fairly high food amounts. That may be the same with me. I am largely doing things I enjoy a lot like walking, running and yoga.

Sustained LC diet? (I don’t like using KETO/Atkins words anymore) Using them starts fires here occasionally. 😇👍
