Good morning!

It's another day where I can comfortably put "100%" in the "How closely followed" part of the weigh-in. :)

I did good again yesterday.

Since the Weight Loss Police aka sk1nnyfuture came after me on the chocolate, I didn't have any yesterday. :) And I dropped 600 grams! Question is, of course, if these two things are at all relatede?

Maybe I should simply stuff myself with chocolate and see what changes, you know, as an experiment? NOT! lol.

Actually, today is pretty well laid out when it comes to my calories. I have it all planned. Breakfast, Hobbit's breakfast, lunch, afternoon break, dinner and night.

The "big" meal today is lunch. We're having a deli-made lasagna. It's a nice, large chunk - and I'm not sure I'm gonna eat it all. If I do, it's already calculated. Of course, because of this, I can't go very much nuts the rest of the day. I'll have to contain myself somewhat.

I have arranged with Wife that she'll put some cherry tomatoes on the fruit tray that goes with cake day today. She's gonna go all out for Valentine's Day, and I really can't/won't have any of it. :/ It's okay though - she gets that I'm on a mission and that I'm not gonna spoil it by doing this.

We decided to not go out tonight, even if it's Valentine's Day. We're both working late, we're gonna be tired, and tomorrow is another work day. Instead, we're doing a little asian inspired meal with chicken breast, mushrooms, bok choi and all kinds of other veggie goodness. I'm looking forward to this - it's better than any of the food choices from restaurants around here!

Wife and I don't really do much in the Valentine's Day department. I did, however, get her some Alien ice cube trays, and a Darth Vader cake thingy. To those who might not think it's very romantic, let me guarantee you that it was a hit! She's been humming The Imperial March (the Darth Vader theme song) all morning! LOL.

...

So, today I am down 600 grams from yesterday. Not bad. That's also getting close to a new low "this time around". I think I need to think of it as a new low as soon as I hit 90.3. I'm 90.5 today. So a few hundred grams more and it's go!

I was kinda hoping to be under 90 today, but I also realize that it would be a (probably) too ambitious goal. Still, I'm "hungry" for a weigh-in below 90. I'd really like to see this soon.

The goal is - of course - still to reach or be very close to 80 kilos in about 50 days. It's pretty ambitious, and it really needs for me to focus and do right. It's not impossible though.

I see a difference in my body these days. First of all, I see that I am slowly bulking up - which really isn't "helping" on my WEIGHT loss. It is, of course, helping on my FAT loss. Having talked with my surgeon, this is NOT an issue. 80 kilos is not a fixed weight to reach. What is important is for my stomach skin to be loose enough for them to perform the needed surgery. Can't remove the stomach skin if it's full of fat! It's about as simple as that. So working out does NOT affect the evaluation, and the number on the scale is NOT 100%.

This means that I can work out as much as I want. I like that.

I feel that my skin generally is getting looser again. I see that my stomach is getting slightly flatter and that the skin IS looser on the stomach, even if I don't see significant changes in actual body weight. So I'm going the right way, and I'll keep going in this direction.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- A good night's sleep.
- Focus on my mission.
- Morning coffee!
- A busy, but hopefully interesting day at work.

Happy Thursday! Life is good!

Completely missed out on the cake. And it looked FRICKIN' AWESOME! Wife went ALL OUT for Valentine's Day. I had some cherry tomates, a tiny slice of water melon and a tangerine. :) I SO feel that I missed out, but I feel great about not giving in. :)

Happy Loss Day. Cherry tomatoes will make you a nice Valentine choice! Love the red! I am trying to get back in to a 1.5-2 lbs. loss a week again. I guess since I'm in the low 180's it will take a lower RDI now to get to the 160s for me so let's do this!!!

Well done :-). ..... Just think... You CHOSE, not to put the cake in your mouth, because you want to be fit and healthy.... And feel great ALL year... Rather than for the 2 minutes it would have taken to eat it.

Essentially, the secret to weight loss boiled down to one sentence, Skinny.you're ABSOLUTELY right. In theory, this is so obvious. Now, why is it that it is often so damn hard to do.

You're so wrong about the gift not being romantic! Whatever you get that has HER in mind is romantic... unless it's a domestic cleaning device. And the fact that she has been humming the Imperial March? Yeah, that was a good present. Happy Loss, and Happy Val Day!

Happy Valentine's Day to you and your wife, Keld. And we can help reign in the weightloss police. We have her number. You just say the word.
