I’ve gained 10 pounds in one month (July to August) and before that about the same amount (June to July). 😣 This is twice the amount of the recommended weight gain for this stage in pregnancy. I’m back on track for the first time since before the baby with respect to my WOE. Immediately, one week in I am down 3 pounds. My OB says our baby girl is on the large size (4 pounds already) which is great. She’s not concerned with me losing a little weight. I’m going to be doing my best to shave off a few ounces and also get the adequate calories and nutrition we both need. Challenge accepted. My doctor had set a goal for me to ultimately gain 40 pounds, and as of now, I’ve gained 48, at an accelerated rate of 2 pounds per week. I have 10 more weeks to go before my Heavenly Gift is here. I’m sure not going to be gaining an additional 20 pounds. My legs/veins are so incredibly sore I can’t sustain my normal daily exercise routine of 3 miles of walking, 60 minutes of resistance training with 50 pound weights and 30 minutes of Pilates. Now I’m doing 30 minutes of walking, no weights over 20 pounds and so usually no weights and I haven’t done Pilates in a long time. I’m going to challenge myself to get back to weights and Pilates but adapted to my current situation: I’m thinking floor work. It’s where I’ve been practicing my Lamaze so might as well be a good time to workout too.

Try your best to eat healthy but I would not recommend a calorie deficit
