kissangelgirl's Journal, 07 June 2019

I was a little tired of slow results. Over the last few weeks I was pretty much maintaining ~ up 1# one day and a few days later down 1#. Following week the same story.

Taking a good look at my food journal, it was pretty obvious that my evening "night caps" were a big culprit. Not only was it placing me over my RDI, but my appetite seemed to be influenced when I would drink. I like wine. I like low carb beer. I like an occasional shot of JD or Tequila. I don't drink to get drunk, I have a few to unwind. Still doesn't make it ok to have a few everyday (IMO) if it goes against what I'm trying to accomplish.

My husband, who is enjoying the same WOE/lifestyle as me, agreed with me when I told him I want to cut the drinks out for 99% of the week. We made the decision to only have a couple drinks one day of the weekend and that's if we even feel like it.

Low and behold, the weight started dropping again.
I'm so flippin happy.
